01 The Operational Challenge

- Aggregator Normalization: Raw XML and JSON responses from distinct GDS providers (Amadeus, Sabre) and hotel aggregators were normalized into a single, standardized domain entity.
- High-Speed Redis Caching: Cached static supplier content (hotel amenities, room descriptions, airport codes) to minimize redundant external API latency and keep search response times under 800ms.
- Transactional Integrity: PostgreSQL ACID transactions ensured bookings and agent credit deductions never experienced race conditions or duplicate ticketing.
